After having bought two printers before, I learned that like most things, you only get what you pay for. The first one I bought for $600, while the second one at $400, neither providing good support.
Looking around I found Flashforge Creator Pro and based on the reviews, this has great support. At its current price point, I ordered and found it worth every dollar.

If you want no hassle and with short learning curve this is the 3d printer for you. For a beginner, you may have to go into trial and error in using different filaments, temp settings, slicing software. You can use PLA in the beginning, but ABS can be hard to master if you’re just starting.

Creating 3d prints that’s high quality may take a longer time to produce. However, once you make a quality 3d print, you can produce almost anything you can think of!

I once had a Flashforge Finder when I started on hobby of 3D printing, then switched to a Makerbot which operates wonderfully for a year only to broke after regular use. I use the 3d printer 5-6 hours daily and more than 10-12 hours on weekends. Overuse broke it.
I got the Creator Pro printer on Thanksgiving sale and find this as an upgrade from the Finder with its two nozzles. This has larger build area and also comes with heated build plate. Though the build plate can’t be removed on the printer, this is more stable on leveling the build plate, the plate stickers that’s included works fine, and I haven’t had issues with printing, such as adhesion or not sticking.
Now into my biggest complaint is that this is NOISY, to my standard. The Finder was quiet, but I find the Creator Pro is the noisiest printer from what he printers I had.

When I got the printer, one of its small extruder fans was faulty. I contacted their teck support and they sent another fan, with no charge. And another thing, the small sensors that notify the top to stop on the rails looks fragile. Just an advice, before you print, look at every metal, make sure that the flap sensor is working.

The dual nozzles are not of the same height, one bumps in the other printing and can damage the print. Also, the nozzles may need to be replaced after using it for some time. Loading and unloading filaments can become quite a chore and it’s something that you need to do.
I noticed the table as small and this is a problem, especially if you desire to build bigger projects. That means you have to be creative on your designs and layouts. Though it comes with spools, use it for testing only and get separate spools for your projects.

Just notice the fan on the bottom making a grinding noise when the printer heats up, then stopping 20 seconds. On second week, the right extruder broke down and stop heating.
The printer looks very solid, the resulting prints came out wonderful. Having the heated bed and the card reader are huge additions.
If you choose to start on 3d printing, I recommend that you use Simplify3d software instead of the default Flashforge program that comes with it, as Simplify3d produces greater print quality.
I’ve used filamens such as petg, pla and abs, everything works fine. I’ve designed a couple 3d models, and found you have endless possibilities of what you wish to create!

I got this two months ago and I’m a bit intimidated on what I’ve read online. I opened this out of the box, assembled together and build my first print. I was surprised and thought, there’s no printer from shipped overseas, if taken out of a box – can produce an awesome 3D print, but this 3d printer did.

I have this printer for 6 months now, I haven’t had any major problems, the printer works amazing and have build extensive collections and projects, some of which is more complex, but came out just fine. If you want to own a printer that last long for you to produce designs, toys, items you can think off, this is your printer!
