The print quality is better than expected. I’ve seen 3D samples online and seen imperfections, thought could be camera and lighting. Though, trust me the print quality are satisfying. We made smartphone charge stands and they were great. The ABS comes out in somewhat like matte finish, PLA seemed have transparent sheen.
The print quality depend on some factors such as how quick you wanted results. I printed phone cases which took less than an hour and came out awesome, with medium quality setting of 15% infill. The software included, Flashprint, though simple to use, can only do much. I needed some control and more features, so I got Simplify3D.

One of the best valued printer, if you want to use printers on regular basis. The extruder fan and case on the dual extruder printer is important when using PLA. The touch interface is easy to use, compared to button menus other printers have. The Dreamer is compact.
Printer looks stackable, though I haven not tried. Not sure, but the program look to post and save easily on the micro SD from the Simplify3D, compared to other printers.

Keep in mind that its power supply gets cooled by fan, so it’s loud other 3dprinters on standby. The internal spool holders ONLY work well if its Flashforge filament, not with other filament spools. I instead printed “spool holders” to replace the one on its side.

This is an excellent printer, but there’s some quirkiness on the 3D printing that you need to be aware. As a hobbyist, I’ve seen videos of 3d printers and pleased on what I seen. Having started a business, would like to send give aways, so I decided to get a 3D printer.
Made some tests, the printer can create great quality prints with two different colors. I feel comfortable using the Dreamer as an investment, though you’re going to have to do different adjusments to get what you want.

Here’s what you need to know before you buy the Dreamer
If you like to assemble/disassemble, you’ll learn to do that by removing stuck filament or taking apart extruders.
Your first few prints will not meet your expectations, and could ve really terrible.
What works great is blue painters tape, glass print bed, Print Bed (120C), ABS (220C), glue sticks.
It’s recommend that you slow down the prints, around 70-75% fill, if you like to have a solid item.
This unit is quite noisy, and I do have a quiet apartment, machine can be heard across the hall if running in the morning.
This printer consumes enormous power, so if you’ll use this regularly, such as continiously everyday, you’ll notice a spike in your power bill.
This also emits out lot of heat.
You’re going to have a difficult time to get the prints on sticking, since the finished items do not stick, and even if the print stick, it will most likely be damaged by second extruder rubbing on it.
It took me weeks of various adjustments to get the printer to use dual extruder print properly.
Overall, I like the possibilities that the machine brings.
This built really well, you can’t go wrong, you’ll accomplished what you want with the Flashforge dreamer.

I’ve been tinkering with 3d pens and just bought my first 3d printing machine. I borrowed my friend’s ultimaker printer to get the feel. I decided to get the Dreamer with its reviews online, I just don’t like the accompanying software as it didn’t provide the things I want to do. I got the Simplify3d which provide the solution I needed.
Overall, its a good hardware with duel extruders, full metal Z platform, concealing case for ABS prints, sheets of buildtak, heated build plate, builtin fans for PLA prints.

Good printer, I tried printing 0.8mm thin case and it came out perfect. Though, I hated the PLA that came with the printer. I only used it for testing purposes and just used ABS I bought separately. If you’ll be using PLA on the Dreamer, there maybe some adhesion issues, where the prints do not stick on the printing bed. I think the Buildtak included could be the problem. If anything, you need the bed to be releveled so the extruder move far from build plate, the issue being the adhesion.
